Email for group size greater than 16 people (please leave your name, phone number, exact date, time, location & party size)

*Note: $6 plus tax per person will be requested upon reservation as non-refundable security deposit and can be used towards the first 2 hours game fees. If the reservation is for dine-in only, a $50 deposit will be requested that can be used towards drinks and/or food.

When do we need to pay security deposit?

We will require security deposit for any group over 16 people ● Dine-in deposit: (all customers will need to pay $50 deposit first and it’s non-refundable, deposits will be used as credits for the total bill) ● Dine-in Policy: For customers dine-in only, the policy is one item per person every 2 hours for group less than 30 people, and if the group is over 30 ppl, we will have $10 minimum spending for each person. ● Board Game policy: $3/hour game fee each person, minimum 2 hours, food/drinks will be optional and extra ● Board-game deposit policy: $3 * total hours * number of people plus HST, will be used towards group game costs directly
How much do we have to pay extra if we stay 30 minutes longer than 2 hours?

We will charge $3 each person once your group stays over 15 mins longer than first 2 hours; e.g. 2hr 20mins (each person will be charged at $9 for game fees)
Do we have to pay game fees if we do not play games?

We do not charge game fees if your group does not play games, but big group event will have minimum spending depends on group size, special requests, and total time request upon booking.
Can we do a separate bill?

We cannot separate bill for big group event over 16 people, thanks for understanding.
How can we pay for deposit? And what is the cancellation policy?

Your group can come and make the deposit in person, or send us your request with details and we can send you invoice for deposit, we also take e-transfer too, each location’s email has auto-deposit, please confirm with us if your request can be accepted before paying.
Can we bring our own games to play?

Yes, please let our on-site staff know, and please note we will still need to charge game fees.
Can we rent out the whole store?

Yes, but we won’t be able to accept any whole store reservations after 11:30 am on weekends or 2:00 pm on weekdays, thanks.
Can we bring our own drinks and food?

We do not allow outside drinks and food, but if your group brings your own cake, please let on-site staff know and we will need to charge 15% service fees for cake utensils. 1 bottle of alcohol will be allowed max each group and entitled for one-time $15 dollars open bottle fees.
Can we have an invoice for our group spending?

Yes, please let us know ahead, thanks.
Do we still get charged for total hours or can we stay longer if our group runs late? What if we have less people showing up?

We apologize that we cannot do any refund once the reservation has been made, and game fee deposits are non-refundable if your group has less people coming, thanks for understanding.
Where can we check the menu? Can we preorder?

The menu is available on our website for each location: www.twilightcafe.ca We do take preorder and please understand we will need prepayment for drinks/food preorder as well, so please kindly send us your list of items that your group wants to order and we will send invoice and prepare upon receiving payment accordingly.
Do you have a catering menu option?

We are working on our Catering menu, will have more sandwiches for big event soon, and all items on our menu can be ordered and served in a bigger plate upon request, please let us know asap.
Do you have Karaoke?

At the moment, KTV is only available in the 667 Yonge St location: policy is $40/hour each room (max 20 people each room, ideally 15 people), $200 minimum spending each room for reservations on Fri-Sun & holidays. 2429 Yonge St, Midtown location will have Karaoke option on Feb, we are aiming to opening by end of Jan, 2025
Do you have vegetarian options?

Yes, please check out the items on our online menu with vegetarian signs.
Do you have private room?

Please see following private room options for each location Twilight Cafe: #35–3300 Midland Ave, Scarborough, ON : No private Room Twilight Cafe Downtown: 252 Victoria St, Toronto, ON: 2 private room (1 is good for 8-15 people, another one is 4-5 people) Twilight Cafe North York: 16 Park Home Ave, North York, ON: 1 private room (8-15 people, TV inside) note: will need to be booked for group over 8 or customers can choose to pay for 8 people’s game fees for group less than 8, dine-in customers will need to hit $200 min spending on weekends regarding private room booking) Twilight Cafe Yonge: 667 Yonge St, Toronto, ON: 2 private room with Karaoke options (8-20people) $40/hour each room, $200 minimum spending each room for reservations on Fri-Sun & holidays.
